Flu Facts
Influenza is a once a year occurrence that causes fever, chills, cough, sore throat, runny nose, muscle or body aches, headaches, and fatigue.

Routine flu immunization is recommended for all persons aged > 6 months.

Individuals are contagious one day before symptoms and up to 5-7 days after they develop symptoms.

Flu Clinics at MSU
The Office of the University Physician will be offering flu clinics at various campus locations in October and November.

The vaccine cost for MSU faculty, staff, and retirees will be free.
The vaccine cost for non-MSU employees and students will be $30.
