Learning that Enriches your LifeIf you are interested in taking courses from the College of Nursing at Michigan State University but do not wish to pursue an MSU degree, Lifelong Education status is designed for you.
Lifelong Education is a non-degree-seeking status requiring a much shorter application process. Courses may be offered on-campus, off-campus, online or in workshops.
Lifelong education students may include pre-nursing students, registered nurses, and advanced practice nursing students from other institutions.
The following courses may be offered to Lifelong Students dependent upon space availability.
NUR 300: Pathophysiology
Semester Offered: spring/summer/fall
Prerequisite: Anatomy & Physiology equivalent to ANTR 350 and PSL 250 or PSL 310 at MSU
NUR 804: Statistics for the Healthcare Professional
Semester Offered: spring
Prerequisite: 3-credit undergraduate statistics course within the last 5 years.
NUR 805: Advanced Pathophysiology
Semester Offered: summer/fall
Prerequisite: Undergraduate Pathophysiology
Semester Offered: spring/summer
