Accelerated Second Degree Program 
REQUIREMENTS & PREREQUISITES
A number of prerequisite foundational courses must be completed in advance of admission to the Accelerated Second Degree program. In addition, candidates must have completed the courses marked with an asterisk (*) within ten years of their anticipated program start date. The prerequisites content areas and corresponding Michigan State University course requirement are listed below. Please see MSU's on-line catalog for a description of the following courses:
Prospective candidates are not required to complete prerequisite coursework at Michigan State University. If they wish to do so, they should consider submitting a Lifelong Education application for study. If prerequisite course requirements are completed at an institution other than Michigan State University, candidates should refer to the following source:
