BSN for Registered Nurses

APPLICATION

The Undergraduate Program Committee reviews applications for admission to the RN to BSN program. Applicants must possess a diploma or an Associate Degree in Nursing and be licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in the United States.  Applications will be considered up to April 15, 2009 for summer admission. Enrollment in the RN to BSN program begins each Summer semester. Applicants admitted, enrolled and who begin the program in the summer 2009 will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

1.) Admission application, transcripts from all previously attended institutions and fee submitted to Michigan State University:

* Former Michigan State University students need not reapply as new students to the University. Instead, they must submit the Application for Readmission to Michigan State University.

2.) Application to the College of Nursing and transcripts from all previously attended institutions submitted to the College of Nursing:

3.) Proof of an RN license free from restrictions or limitations. Please mail a copy of your license to the Office of Student Affairs at the above address. Licenses will be verified through public access sites such as http://www.cis.state.mi.us/free/default.asp.

4.) Applicants may also submit a College of Nursing Scholarship Application at this time.
