Professional Partnerships

The Professional Partnerships unit at Michigan State University College of Nursing is committed to developing relationships with health care professionals, healthcare delivery systems and educational organizations to promote improving patient outcomes and building staff capacity to meet the emerging needs of health care consumers.

Our Mission
  • To provide leadership, facilitation and infrastructure for non-credit educational programs, consultative services and collaborative projects between Michigan State University College of Nursing and health related organizations.
  • To develop internal and external partnerships which support the College in achieving its mission of education, research, practice and service.
We provide these services through educational offerings and consultative services.  Our educational offerings include online programs, or in-person conferences/programs, or and certificate granting programs.  These educational offerings are designed to meet the needs of nurses and others health care professionals as they develop their skill sets to meet emerging needs of patients and the health care delivery system.  These consultation services are developed to support the client organization achieve their goals for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of their services for patients and staff.  Our consultants seek to support the client to develop strategies achievable with their resources and consistent with the culture.
