About the College
MISSION
The mission of Michigan State University's College of Nursing is to enhance the health of the community by providing excellence in nursing education, advancing the profession of nursing and serving as an advocate for optimal health care for all people. Specifically, our goals are to:
- Expand and improve our educational offerings through new web-based professional and degree programs.
- Strengthen our science and build our research capacity.
- Expand the capacity of our nursing practice to serve as a demonstration site to test interventions and healthcare delivery models, serve additional patient populations, and provide technology-supported care coordination.
- Expand the internal and external partnerships required to strengthen the linkage between research, education, and practice.
