Introduction to Reflexology

Reflexology is a practice based on the principles that there are reflexes  in the feet and hands that correspond to all organs, glands, and parts  of the body. It is a popular complementary therapy used to relieve stress, pain, and discomfort. Barb Brower, a certified reflexologist with over 20 years of experience has offered this self-paced course. You will have the opportunity to learn about the principles of reflexology, view a video demonstration of the basic techniques and be able to practice these skills as a result of completing this course.

**This course fulfills the 1.0 nursing continuing education requirement for PAIN management mandated for RN relicensure in the State of Michigan.


Complementary Therapies in Pain Management

This self-paced continuing education offering is intended to provide registered nurses with an overview of pain and the use of complementary therapies in pain management. This program is sponsored by the Michigan State University Institute for Health Care Studies and the Michigan State University College of Nursing.

In order to successfully pass this online offering you must pass the quiz with a score of 80% or higher, submit the evaluation and attendance information. Successful participants will receive 1.0 nursing continuing education contact hours.
