Welcome to the Michigan State University College of Nursing. Thank you for partnering with us in the education of our students.

We are looking for a few good nurse practitioners and nurse educators who want to give back to Michigan State University with their time and talent. We are in the process of growing our pool of nurse practitioner (NP) and nurse educator (NE) volunteers who are willing and able to be preceptors for Michigan State University College of Nursing graduate students. 

Being a preceptor gives you a chance to help shape the next generation of NPs and NEs with your knowledge, skill and professional guidance within the context of your current practice environment.

If you are an actively practicing NP or NE, and this opportunity appeals to you, please complete a copy of the Preceptor Profile. Fax the form to us and we will enter your information into our preceptor database. We have statewide placement needs, and currently most significant  in the metro Detroit area.

If you have NP or NE colleagues that may be interested in being a preceptor, please let us know, or make a copy of the form and invite them to submit their information as well.
