The Michigan State University library has a comprehensive scholarship resource collection. Many of the resources are available
electronically. Resources are available either within the local Michigan State University Library system or through interlibrary loan. Heidi Schroeder is the Health Sciences Librarian assigned as a liaison to the College of Nursing. She is
available to assist faculty in learning how to access the library resources and in conducting advanced searches.

The Michigan State University Office of the Vice President for Research & Graduate Studies has resources available to faculty in the areas
of funding, conducting research, regulations, policies and procedures, research news and features. Dr. Ian Gray is the Vice President for Research & Graduate Studies.
Nursing Research Committee

The College of Nursing Research Committee is a standing committee of the faculty with multiple functions including recommending the College research agenda. The committee is also involved in evaluating and making recommendations about resources and support and exploring opportunities for collaboration among researchers, students, and practitioners. The committee proposes faculty
development activities and is involved in reviewing/updating research and scholarship quality performance indicators as well as making recommendations to the faculty.

Pre-Award Guidelines: Pre-Award Guidelines, the Intent to Submit, and a Proposal Planning Tool are available to assist faculty with the preparation of an application to seek external funding for scholarship activities. Templates are available for Resources and Environment.
Grants Management Post Award Funding: Post award planning guidelines are avaiable to enable researchers to efficiently and appropriately manage their awards.
Space

Faculty engaging in scholarship who have obtained grant/contract funding generating facilities and administrative (F&A)
cost returns are eligible to request additional space for housing research staff. This space will be allocated to the faculty
member as needed by the nature of their project and consistent with the College of Nursing space guidelines.
