Faculty Excellence Advocate

In the College of Nursing (CON), the Faculty Excellence Advocate (FEA) takes on specific leadership, education, and advocacy duties in promoting a culture of excellence and inclusion across the college. Dr. Gwen Wyatt serves in this role in the College of Nursing.

Specifically, the CON FEA:

• Supports the faculty with their research and other academic endeavors that contribute to their career trajectory and to healthcare
• Supports faculty searches and hiring
• Involved with annual review, reappointment, promotion and tenure
• Creates and sustains a positive work environment
• Reviews job postings and other materials with impartiality
