The Janice Thompson Granger Nursing Learning Center at Michigan State University’s College of Nursing provides immersive, hands-on clinical training in a fully equipped simulation environment. Students develop critical thinking, technical skills, and confidence through realistic patient-care experiences.

The Granger Learning Center features industry-leading technology that allows students to practice using the same tools and systems found in today’s healthcare settings.

The Granger Simulation Lab at the College of Nursing is accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) as a site under the Michigan State University Simulation Program.

Feeney oversees a dynamic, evolving environment dedicated to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. For Feeney, no two days in the lab are ever the same—and that is exactly the point. By putting students at the center stage of their learning journey, she and her staff create a supportive space where future nurses can safely learn, practice, and perfect the essential tools of the trade.

Driven by the belief that every student has a unique learning style, Feeney ensures the lab is fully equipped to meet learners exactly where they are, providing the resources and guidance needed to elevate their skills and help them succeed in the nursing field.
When she isn't in the lab, Feeney is dedicated to bringing cutting-edge practices back to her students through her active participation in professional simulation organizations.
