The MSU College of Nursing provides nursing continuing professional development that utilizes the research, education, and practice experience of our outstanding faculty in our bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs and our community partners.
We are dedicated to the facilitation of nursing professional development by delivering a range of learning activities that build upon the educational and experiential foundations of professional nurses across a wide range of specialty areas.
Our wide variety of offerings help to improve the health of our communities, and help licensed nurses achieve their professional and educational goals. We have a commitment to engaging and amplifying diverse topics to serve a diverse learning community.

Our programming has featured a variety of live and online presentations, live concerts, art exhibits, storytelling workshops, film reviews, wellness activities, and education for personal and professional growth. We work with many other departments, organizations & programs to offer collegial sharing and advancement of creative learning.
The College of Nursing Continuing Education and Professional Development department follows the foundation of Michigan State's land grant mission to partner with others and advance outreach, engagement, and educational improvement for our local communities. We engage with inter-& intra-collegiate and external partners to ensure robust development and sharing of topics to fit statewide learning needs.

Through the Henry Ford + MSU partnership, the MSU CON Professional Development Department partners with the Nursing Education Workgroup and IPE Offering Workgroup to deliver continuing education initiatives tailored to the professional growth of Henry Ford nurses. This collaboration aims to enhance nursing expertise and foster innovation through targeted educational programs.
