Dr. Emma Schlegel's area of research broadly focuses on sexual and reproductive autonomy and health promotion during emerging adulthood. She is specifically interested in addressing preconception health disparities among emerging adults assigned female at birth by creating scientifically rigorous preconception health promotion interventions that are developmentally and culturally appropriate for this population.
