Michigan State University also provides academic support services, including:

  • Math Learning Center: Providing assistance with concepts taught up through 200-level math courses, and some 300-level courses.
  • MSU Counseling and Psychological Services: Licensed professional counselors helping all students succeed by empowering students to deal with life issues.
  • MSU Graduate School: Serves as an advocate for graduate education to the university and beyond and to enhance the quality of graduate education at MSU in all its diverse dimensions. 

  • MSU Office of Supportive Services: Providing advising and tutoring services for students in the College Achievement Admissions Program (CAAP) and McNair/SROP program.
  • Neighborhood Student Success Center: Helping undergraduate students achieve their academic goals, as well as providing advising and tutoring services and more.
  • Student Athlete Support Services (SASS): Providing each student athlete with guidance, resources and support that will enhance their development both academically and personally.
  • Writing Center: Providing assistance with drafting, revising, and editing papers.

Library resources

The college has an abundance of resources including a health sciences digital library, a dedicated librarian, online tutorials, and a wealth of databases. 

A vast array of nursing books and journals are available electronically. All of these electronic resources can be easily accessed online from anywhere in the world. In addition, hard copies are housed at the main MSU Library.

As nursing research and practice integrates knowledge from multiple disciplines, these resources are available to help aide in searches. Helping to provide faculty, staff, and students with assistance in their searches, an overview of research guides include:
