Nursing Student Association

The Nursing Student Association (NSA) is Michigan State University College of Nursing's only professional student organization, fostering the professional and personal development of pre-nursing and nursing students.

NSA is an excellent way to interact with fellow nursing students and faculty. The NSA provides an avenue to learn more about the College of Nursing, seek advice and suggestions for success, and become involved in community service projects.

Membership is required and costs $10 annually. Email: RSO.NursingStudent@msu.edu or Instagram: @MSU_NSA for more information.

SAC and College Governance

The Student Advisory Council (SAC) provides feedback on behalf of students to the Dean, faculty, and administration. Members of the council provide input on matters related to the college’s academic programs and student welfare. The SAC also plans activities such as service projects throughout the year.

A call for nominations is sent out each February. To get involved, contact Carol Vermeesch.

Sigma Theta Tau

Sigma Theta Tau, the honor society of nursing, supports the learning and professional development of members who strive to improve nursing care.
