Curriculum

Fast track into the nursing profession
The Accelerated second-degree BSN (ABSN) program is a full-time, four semester, 15-month program designed for students who have completed a bachelor's degree or higher in another field. This ensures students are ready for the ABSN curriculum.

Building on the student's prior educational foundation, the ABSN program combines classroom and experiential learning on an accelerated timeline. ABSN students begin clinical courses in their first semester.

This program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and is approved by the Michigan Board of Nursing. Graduates qualify to take the NCLEX-RN, the licensure examination for eligibility to become a registered nurse.
