Since March 2020, the college has received over 30 requests for emergency financial assistance. With applications for assistance on the rise, support for students like Loveleen Kaur has been vital to their success. Below is a message she shared with donors.

Dear Donor,

Thank you for helping me in my time of need. These funds will allow my parents and I to take care of their finances due to an unexpected medical emergency. With COVID, managing finances has not been easy. My family’s business closed, which has also caused us to struggle.

I appreciate your support and am thankful for being awarded these funds. It will help pay for my tuition and help me save for upcoming educational expenses, which will ultimately allow me to pursue my dream of becoming a pediatric nurse.
